A century-old tradition
These recently renovated stone beauties have a long history. The two houses were built over a hundred years ago, in 1908 . On the property there are the well-preserved stone mills and “guvno” which make this property a beautiful and unique luxury holiday home. The exterior walls are original from the old house, whereas the indoor staircase and the first floor have been rebuilt.
Main house
The original house was built in 1908 . The family dwellings were on the first floor, whereas the ground floor hosted the first grocery store on the island of Krk. Later the store became a tavern and a winery.
The whole house is air-conditioned and it also has floor heating, therefore it can be rented out and used also during the winter. Both houses have separate entrances for complete privacy.
Inside the main house
The ground floor includes a living room with a large couch that can be used as a sofa bed, TV, and a fireplace. The handmade, bespoke kitchen is fully equipped, and has a large dining table that is perfect for family lunches and dinners. The ground floor also hosts a large bathroom with a jacuzzi, toilet and a double-sink.
The bedrooms are on the first floor. All the furniture has been handmade and crafted especially for the house. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom The first floor also has a large terrace from which you can enjoy breathtakingly stunning sunsets!
On the ground floor there is a covered terrace with a lounge.
The smaller house / The annex
The annex used to be the stone mill. The building hosted the machinery for milling grain, steam machine, and the place for packaging.
The whole house is air-conditioned and it also has floor heating, therefore it can be rented out and used also during the winter. Both houses have separate entrances for complete privacy.
Inside the annex
The annex hosts bedrooms that are equipped with handmade beds and couches. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom. On the upper floor there is a terrace from which you can enjoy the beautiful view of the island’s countryside.
On the ground floor there is a large covered terrace with an outdoor kitchen, barbeque, fireplace, a wood oven, and a large dining table.
